Opulence - loose beadsPurple, red and olive - how regal is that !?!  This set was made using colors that are new to me - Lauscha purple, Vetrofond yellow ochre (olive), and Lauscha transparent red - along with some nice purple metallic accents.

Of course all the metallics in these pictures are hard to capture, but the outdoor pictures come closest.

The focal bead is a olive transparent base bead made using a combination of amber and green transparent glasses.  The multi-layered dots on the surface have been plunged then twisted into paisley shapes with metallic purple dots for accents.  It measures 15mm by 21mm.

Opulence - alternate viewThe four darker colored beads are opaque purple with a reduction frit melted in and reduced to a purple luster.   They measure 8mm by 12mm and 8.5mm by 14mm.  The olive beads with melted amethyst dots are topped with tiny purple metallic dots.  They measure 8.5mm by 14mm. And the transparent red beads with plunged amethyst dots measure 8mm by 13mm.

This set includes 5mm Light Siam and Lime Swarovski® crystals and antique silver-finish pewter heishe.  Opulence is strung on sterling silver wire.
