I
just can't get enough of aqua - and I really like pairing it with
copper blue-pink (CBP { AKA "new copper green" }) All the
beads in this set have been made on my smaller mandrels.
The focal bead in this set has a
base of transparent aqua with plunged flowers of encased CBP.
It measures 11mm by 15.5mm.
The next pair of beads are a simple base of aqua with CBP and
raised clear dots. They measure 8mm by 12mm. Then we
have beads with a base of aqua and a band of copper blue-pink
rolled in gold aventurine powder and encased. The result is
one of my favorite beads because if the subtle sparkles nestled in
colors of blue and pink. They measure 9mm by 12.5mm.
The
third pair also have a base of transparent aqua with a wavy line
of old copper green dotted on either side with CBP. They
measure 7.5mm by 11mm. And finally, the smallest pair of
beads are twisted dots of CBP accented with raised clear dots.
They measure 5.5mm by 9.5mm.
I've used 4mm Light Rose Swarovski®
crystals and shiny silver finish pewter heishe for accents.
Water Petals is temporarily strung on sterling silver wire. |
