Welcome to FergieBeads!

I've been making and selling jewelry since 1997, but after discovering lampwork beads, I KNEW I had to learn how to make them!  While I sometimes get caught up in mommy stuff (I have four boys) and my graphic/web design business, I make beads as often as I can.

It's been a few years since I've sold regularly on eBay, and I really miss meeting and making new friends through our shared bead passion.  Currently, finished jewelry made with my beads are sold exclusively in the gift section of Davis Pharmacy (in Batesville, MS).  I plan to include some pieces and loose beads on this website soon, so please check back!

The deadline for submissions for Bead Review 3 has been extended this year to December, so if you are a beadmaker, challenge yourself to do your best work and submit!

I was fortunate enough to be able to both serve on the jury and as artistic director (layout/design) for Bead Review 2005. As a member of the jury, I was also able to include a photo of one of my beads.  Since I haven't been making beads as much as I used to, I was stumped!  Deanna Griffin Dove had one of my beads from a class I took with her in Summer 2005, so we used it.
