I've been making and selling jewelry since 1997, but after discovering lampwork beads, I KNEW I had to learn how to make them! While I sometimes get caught up in mommy stuff (I have four teenage boys) and my graphic design business, I make beads as often as I can.

I began making lampwork beads in late 2001 after being an avid (or should I say "rabid"?) buyer on eBay. :-)  As a buyer, I looked for beads that were well made, used nice color combinations, and were practical for use in my jewelry designs.  I use those same qualities in my approach to bead design.  My beadmaking style continues to evolve as new glass colors are made available and new techniques are learned from my awesome lampwork teachers.  I've taken classes from such masters as Tom Holland & Sage and Deanna Griffin Dove, Michael Barley, and Andrea Guarino, Brad Pearson & Trey Cornette.  I'm humbled and amazed at the way their influences are transformed through me into beads of which I can be so proud.

I hope to one day return to eBay, but for now I'm working to start posting my beads on this website.  My photography setup is driving me crazy, but I'll do my best to post photograph that represent my beads as close as possible.  Just remember they (almost) always look better in person!  Browse through the site... Maybe you'll find some "eye candy" (or as a fellow Wet Canvas member called it, "bead porn") or at least some creative inspiration.

In any case, enjoy yourself, and please come back again!
